You once learned something that changed everything. That feeling wasn't accidental. It was the signal of genuine transformation. I help you find it again, and go even deeper.
I'm Eugene Geis—physicist, ordained minister, martial artist, and educator. I hold dual PhDs: the first in Experimental Nuclear Physics, the second in Statistical Psychometric Methods, earned summa cum laude. The arc between them is part of the story. I've also been meditating since I was fifteen. That combination isn't accidental. It's the foundation of everything I do here.
Early in my teaching career I coached a wrestling team that had stopped believing it could win. We didn't train harder. We shifted how they understood themselves as learners and competitors. They became district champions. That moment showed me something I've spent decades refining: transformation follows understanding, not effort alone.
Real learning moves in two directions at once. Outward, into new skills, fields, and ways of making your mark on the world. Inward, toward a clearer sense of who you are and what you're here to do. As your learning guide I help you honor both. Through a proven sequence of seven questions, we find what made your best learning feel alive, and design pathways that keep that spirit at the center of wherever you want to go next.
I've also coached students to Best Delegation honors at Harvard MUN and NAIMUN, authored MUN-E (a youth leadership manual), won a gold medal at the NYC U.S. Open in Tai Chi push hands, and performed as a singer and comedian—because some truths land better as punchlines.
This isn't about learning faster or more efficiently. It's about learning in a way that awakens something in you. Each question is a door, outward into new capability, and inward toward deeper self-knowledge.
We begin at the source. What moment in your past made learning feel magical, important, real? This is your north star, a reference point for what's possible.
There's a reason you're here. Whatever the pull is toward, a skill, a field, a practice, or a new paradigm, it points toward growth.
Here's where we get specific. Was it the teacher? The challenge level? The sense of relevance? The freedom to explore? We identify the ingredients.
Now we design. How do we adapt what worked before to this new context? What needs to change? What needs to stay the same?
Beyond the subject itself: who does learning this make you? What does it stir in you spiritually, not just professionally? This is the transformational question, the one that turns a course into a calling.
Practical design phase. We create a learning architecture that honors your energy, not just your calendar.
Final step: expansion. Once you've tasted transformation, what's next? This question opens the door to ongoing growth.
Three pathways into transformation. Each one meets you where you are and works outward into your goals and inward toward who you're becoming.
A single focused conversation to explore whether we're a good fit, and to begin mapping your transformational learning landscape.
An 8-week guided journey through the complete 7-question method, with ongoing support between sessions.
For those committed to growing in both directions: outward into mastery and inward toward meaning. A full year of deep, ongoing partnership.
Working with Eugene helped me see that my previous learning failures weren't about me—they were about approaching learning in the wrong way. The 7-question method revealed patterns I never noticed.— Sarah M., Career Pivoter
I've taken dozens of courses and read hundreds of books. This was the first time someone helped me understand WHY I learn best. That's changed everything.— David K., Software Engineer
The Transformation Path program didn't just help me learn data science—it helped me become someone who learns differently. More alive. More curious. More me.— Jennifer L., Data Analyst
